There are so many variation of Apple logo that we’ve ever known. This is one of them.
The glass’s effect make this logo seems shiny and elegant, right?
Let’s find out how to create it using CorelDraw, shall we?
- Apple is a registered trademark of Apple Inc.
- CorelDraw is a registered trademark of Corel Corporation.
Click the Ellipse Tool (F7), and draw a circle that is 400px in diameter.
Hold the Ctrl key when drawing with mouse, it will keep the circle proportional.
Remove any outline from the circle by setting Outline Width option to none.
Click the Interactive Fill Tool (G), and set the Fill Type to Uniform Fill.
Set RGB color with the following value: R:0 G:97 B:145
Click the Ellipse Tool (F7) and draw a circle that is ~380px in diameter.
Position it to be centered and the top of the first circle.
Hold the Shift key and click both circles.
With both circles selected, push C then E to make them centered.
Using your keyboard, arrange position of the smaller circle as shown in the picture.
Remove any outline from the rectangle by setting Outline Width option to none.
Click the Interactive Fill Tool (G), and set the Fill Type to Linear.
Click the Edit Fill (F11), and adjust the color gradation (see picture).
As an example, I’ve used the following color scheme (in the opposite direction of the arrow):
1. R:255 G:255 B:255
2. R:175 G:210 B:255
3. R:0 G:65 B:145
Click the Interactive Blend Tool, then set the Number of Steps to 10.
Click the smaller circle, drag to the bigger circle, and release your mouse there.
Click the Ellipse Tool (F7), then draw a circle that is ~210px in diameter.
Hold the Ctrl key when drawing with mouse, it will keep the circle proportional.
Click the circle, then right click and choose Convert To Curves.
Click the Shape Tool (F10).
Click one of the nodes, then right click. There are option menu to add/min the node.
There are also some techniques to help us shaping the curve.
We will form an apple from the curve.
This process requires your skill using Shape Tool (F10).
Click the Interactive Fill Tool (G), and set the Fill Type to Radial.
Click the Edit Fill (F11), and adjust the color gradation (see picture).
As an example, I’ve used the following color scheme (opposite the arrow’s direction):
1. R:2 G:74 B:138
2. R:1 G:147 B:221
3. R:255 G:255 B:255
Remove any outline from the rectangle by setting Outline Width option to none.
Copy your apple, then change its dimension smaller than the first one.
Position it to be centered and the top of the bigger apple.
Hold the Shift key and click both circles.
With both apples selected, push C then E to make them centered.
Click the Interactive Fill Tool (G), and set the Fill Type to Linear.
Click the Edit Fill (F11), and adjust the color gradation (see picture).
As an example, I’ve used the color scheme from point 9.
Click the Interactive Blend Tool, then set the Number of Steps to 17.
Click the smaller apple, drag to the bigger apple, and release your mouse there.
Position this apple to be centered and the top of main circle we had made at point 5.
Using your keyboard, arrange the position of the apple as shown in the picture.
Click the Ellipse Tool (F7), then draw an ellipse (see picture).
Position it to top of our main circle (see picture).
Remove any outline from the circle by setting Outline Width option to none.
Click the Interactive Transparency Tool, then set the Transparency Type to Linear. Afterwards, set Fountain Transparency Angle to -90.
